Sanity check

As I sat there rerolling a massive pile of toilet paper that my son had fun unrolling minutes before, I thought to myself, "Do sane people do this? Or do they just throw the TP away?" I don't know...I really don't know...

I only re-roll if it's not going to throw me over the edge to CRAZY-MEAN-MOM. If it's going to make a bad situation worse then the offending segment gets ripped off and tossed. If I happen to be full of joy or particularly earth-conscious that day then I re-roll.

I don't know why but I consider myself among the sane (that right there should be a HUGE indicator to the opposite!). However, if it were me, I would most likely roll it back up just like you (maybe because I'm cheap like that). But then again it would totally depend on the day. If I was having a crummy day I would probably throw in the trash.

i don't re-roll OR throw it away. i tear it off and then set it on top of the toilet for future use (semi-folded) :) and i don't keep it because i'm "earth-conscious" but because i'm pocket-book conscious!

what's fun is when you walk into the bathroom and the roll has been re-rolled for you because the offending party is old enough to know they shouldn't have done it in the first place :)

We don't even have the toilet paper on the holder anymore, it sits on top of the sink counter, WAY back so 'long-armed' Cooper can't reach it! :-) So hopefully I won't have to check my sanity any time soon! HA! Stacey

I don't re-roll, because i would never get anything else done! LOL! I wad it up and put it in a basket near the toilet. I don't keep my TP on the roll think anymore either (not just because it's broken). Our new puppy grabs any roll she can find and chews it to smithereens! My kids now have to yell, "MOM, I can't reach the toilet paper!"
