Welcome Party People!

If you'd like to join the party, click on the sign to your right. For those visitors that don't know me, I'm a stay-at-home mom of one cuddly 8 month old. I worked as a professional counselor for five years prior to his birth. My husband and I have been married almost ten years. This website is my way to update my long-distance family (parents in Germany, grandparents in TN and IA, etc.) on our Ohio adventures. This is more of what you see on the outside, the blog nearest to my heart, though, is zerbik which is where I openly wrestle with spiritual issues. My favorite zerbik is always the most recent post, and my favorite WigLife post is No Shadow!

More about me...I am learning how to knit, kinda crochet already, make bead jewelry, am taking a pottery class, love martial arts, cooking Indian food, recycling, eating chocolate (just learned to like dark choc.), making up silly songs for my baby, singing, doing things the old fashioned or natural way where possible (cloth diapers, nursing, etc.) and I'm obsessed with names and their meanings. Oh, and I have two American Hairless Terriers (I'm allergic to hairy dogs!).

Hi Becca! It was nice to hear more about you. I wonder if we are around the same age? My husband and I have been married almost 10 years, as well. You look too young to be reaching that milestone, but people say the same thing about me...

Nice to meet you & welcome to the party! I would love to learn the art of crocheing. (sp?) I think I might pick that hobby up one day soon!

You have a beautiful family!! I'm having a great time at the party! I have crocheted for more than 15 years, so if you ever have a question... Knitting, well, that's another story. I'm just a beginner there...

Hoppin' party, Becca! Glad you invited me. Gotta go deal with a Donosaurus meltdown. Yes, he's awake at this hour. Don't ask.

Hello, Becca! I hopped on over to your zerbik blog, and I have to tell you that I really enjoyed your latest post, "The Tragedian." I'll have to pick up that book...I thoroughly enjoy Lewis, but haven't read that one yet. Great insight!! Thanks!

I'm mingling from the blog party!

Wow, what a great idea to knock out that wall! A nice dark coloured wooden cupboard would solve you coat problem and look fabulous!

I love demolition....and knitting. Sometimes for me the two go hand in hand (especially if I make a mistake).
